Tour Details

Explore rural Bali on a journey across the island, and travel through the central mountains to the Banyumala Waterfall, Banyumala Waterfall is one of the lesser known waterfalls in Bali. It is located north of Lake Buyan in north central Bali. Unlike many trails this is a completely natural trail and rarely hiked trail. Just past the waterfall is a water curtain of various trickles of water down a wall of lush rocks.

Next to the twin lakes view from Wanagiri Hill before heading to Bali Handara Gate, continue to Ulun Danu Beratan Lake Temple, a Water temples serve the entire region in the outflow area; downstream there are many smaller water temples that are specific to each irrigation association (subak) Built in 1633,  Lake Bratan is known as the Lake of Holy Mountain due to the fertility of this area. Located 1200 m above sea level, it has a cold tropical climate.

Next to Jatiluwih village in Penebel District, north of Tabanan, has paddy fields following the contours of terraced land against the background of spellbinding Mount Batukaru and Mount Agung use traditional Balinese irrigation known as subak, Bali’s community-based water control management system. Lies at an altitude of 700 meters, the cool atmosphere of more original beautiful Jatiluwih is better than the most well known Tegallalang which has plenty of cafes and souvenir shops. Jatiluwih is one of the five rice terraces that describe the “Subak” water management system which has gain acknowledgement from UNESCO as part of the world’s cultural heritage.

Last destination is Tanah Lot to enjoy beautiful sunset, the temple sits on a large offshore rock which has been shaped continuously over the years by the ocean tide, was built and has been a part of Balinese mythology for centuries. The temple is one of seven sea temples around the Balinese coast. Each of the sea temples was established within eyesight of the next to form a chain along the south-western coast. In addition to Balinese mythology, the temple was significantly influenced by Hinduism. At the base of the rocky island, venomous sea snakes are believed to guard the temple from evil spirits and intruders. The temple is purportedly protected by a giant snake, which was created from Nirartha’s selendang when he established the island. Next back to hotel.

Great tour experience
We were assigned Kadek as our driver and he has been a great companion bringing us around for 2 days to Ubud and Tanah Lot & Uluwatu Temple. Punctual and pleasant experience overall. A big thank you to Surya & Kadek for his service.

We hired Bali Surya Tour for a day tour and the driver assigned to us, Mr Wyan, was fantastic. He is a guide but he drove us around as the driver was sick. He was accommodating enough to make changes in our itinerary midway and also took us to beaches that are less crowded. Would recommend Bali Surya Tour to anyone looking for a package trip or daily basis car hire in Bali for a reasonable price.

Booked for an ubud , kintamani volcano trip which was amazing , Booking was so simple that every conversation was done through whatsapp, It was a last minute booking and Mr Surya was kind enough to arrange a big car with a driver and an excellent companion Mr Yogi who was with us for the whole trip. He was so into learning and sharing about culture and history. We had an amazing chat through out the trip. As i was travelling alone Mr Yogi helped me to take pictures and assisted me for the whole tour.. Had an amazing experience.. Will definitely recommend ..!!!
